2012 KENTUCKY COLT ASSOCIATION FAIR RACING IN KENTUCKY
SEPARATE COLT AND FILLY STAKES
NOMINATE NOW FOR THE KENTUCKY COUNTY FAIR RACING CIRCUIT

Each fair will conduct Early closing Events for 2 & 3 year old Trotters & Pacers, with separate division for
Colts and Fillies.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR NOMINATION: Each Colt or Filly must be Sired by a stallion registered with the Kenrucky Standardbred Development fund
PURSE STRUCTURE: The purses for 2012 will be a follows: Races that Do Not split will race for $4000; Races that Do split will race for $2000; and races that split 2 times will race for $1333. Finals will start at $7500 for up to 3 entries and $500 added for each entry after that with a maximum of 8 entries and $10,000.00 each class.

Conditions for Finals: Each Colt or Filly must start at least one more than fifty per cent of the Fairs.(4 starts) If
there is a Kentucky Sires Stakes Race within three (3) days of a Fair Event, all Colts or Fillies in the Sires Stakes
will be awarded one (1) point and given credit for one (1) fair start. Top 8 point winners eligible.

THE NOMINATION FEE IS $50.00 PER HORSE NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 15, 2012
A SUSTAINING PAYMENT OF $200 PER HORSE WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 15, 2012
ALL OWNERS OF EACH HORSE MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE KY. COLT ASSOCIATION. MEMBERSHIP IS $20.00
THERE WILL BE A STARTING FEE OF $50.00 PER HORSE PER FAIR ($200.00 FOR FINALS)
