IT IS TIME TO NOMINATE FOR THE 2012 FAIR RACES IN KENTUCKY
Nominations MUST be post marked by Feb. 15, 2012. Nomination fee is $50.00 per horse. You also need to be a member. Membership form at bottom of nomination form. Membership fee is $20.00 per owner. Please note this is not the same membership that provides bike and 3rd party insurance. To obtain that membership you need to contact Gabe Prewitt at the Kentucky Harness Horsemen's Association.

This web site is designed for the general public as well as participants to become aware of the sport of Harness Racing at county fairs. We hope to be able to update you as soon as possible to any changes as far as dates, times, rain out events or any other important information. The Kentucky Colt Association, also known as Kentucky Fair Racing, has been in existence for several years and we feel it is one of the best fair circuits in existence. The races begin in May and end in August. There is also a fair finals at the end of the race circuit. There are separate divisions for two and three year old trotters and pacers and separate divisions for fillies and colts at each fair as well as in the finals.

Although all owners must be members of the Kentucky Colt Association, in order to obtain Race Bike Insurance and 3rd party liability insurance they must become members of the Kentucky Harness Horsemen's Association. Their web site is www.khha.net You can download a membership form or you may call 1-800-729-2026. The cost of this insurance is $35.00 per year.
